This is an excellent devotional commentary that traces God’s people as they leave their captivity in Egypt, travel through the wilderness, and finally reach the Promised Land. Many helpful parallels are drawn with the Christian life today - leaving behind a life of sin and rebellion, and slowly maturing until we experience the joyful, abundant life that the Lord Jesus came to give His people. Very helpful. |
