About Us Gospel Cards was started in 1982 when Mike and Sue Hart were unable to find suitable Christmas cards to send to non-Christian family and friends - cards that explained why Christ was born. They therefore produced their own card, and made it available for others to use. That was the birth of Gospel Cards. Since then millions of cards for various occasions have been produced - some designed for sending to non-Christians, others for sending to Christians. In 1997 we started to distribute good Christian books and other literature. In recent years a percentage of sales income has been given to Christian charities. Total to date is nearly £250,000. We are grateful to God for this ministry in Christian literature, and look to Him to bless many through it.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse through our catalogue and click on any items that you are interested in, to put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be able to check and, if necessary, amend the list of items "short-listed" to make your final selection. We accept credit card payment by Visa (NOT Electron) and Mastercard. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. Sorry, our system is not able to send automatic confirmation e-mails Alternatively, payment can be made by Sterling cheque, drawn on a UK bank. In that case, print off the order form and post it to us together with your payment.

Shipping And Handling A standard charge of £3.50 is made on all UK orders received via the Internet regardless of the number of items ordered. Orders from outside the UK are also subject to a small additional charge of 15% of the cost of the order. Delivery Schedule We aim to despatch all orders within 5 working days. International orders are despatched by Air Mail.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges VAT is included in the price of all non-book items.

Credit Card Security We use leading web site security software, and know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using that shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
